Lunch Meat Recall July 2024 Michigan. Federal and state officials are working with the centers for disease control and prevention (cdc) investigating a multistate outbreak of listeria monocytogenes. Nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry products distributed nationwide are being recalled for possible listeria contamination.
Investigators are working to determine if other deli meat products are affected. The expansion includes 71 products — including meat intended for slicing at delis, and some packaged meat and poultry products —produced from may 10 to july.
